Natural-looking makeup is major for me, and I LOVE Glossier for that exact reason. The whole brand is about bringing out the natural look and accentuating natural beauty—think freckles, dewy skin, and feathered eyebrows. I love so many of their products, and they’re perfect for when you want to run out of the door quickly, but have a nice natural glow. When I was in Tulum last year the humidity was so high that I couldn’t keep ANY makeup on my face, but luckily I had my Glossier products to keep me looking fresh. I’d use a bit of perfecting skin tint and boy brow, and voilà I was ready to go. My must-have Glossier products are boy brow, stretch concealer, haloscope, and perfecting tint. These pressed florals on faces and hands have been catching my eye lately. My grandma used to always press flowers and frame them around her house, but WOW I’m so into the idea of putting them on people. How cool would it be to incorporate a few florals along your neck in a wedding? Kinda crazy, kinda obsessed with it!
This post has been made in partnership with Neutrogena and Rite Aid. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Skincare is one of my favorite parts of my beauty routine. I’m always keeping an eye out for new products to keep my skin looking fresh and soft. Between the winter weather and traveling, my skin has been feeling dry and needed a boost. I gave my skincare routine a refresh with the new Hydro Boost line from Neutrogena and it’s bringing my dry skin back to life.
Lately I’ve become obsessed with scented beauty products. I used to just look for a product I really love, but now I’m fully invested in finding products I love AND also love the scent of. These days I find myself reaching for the essentials, like hand soap, dry shampoo, or conditioner, that smell heavenly. There’s something so lovely about doing an everyday task and waking up all of your senses because it smells so dang good. Definite everyday mood lifter!
I’m obsessing over these two lines—the Elizabeth and James Nirvana beauty and the new Le Labo body, hair, and face collection. I like that they’re everyday essentials that also smell like perfume. It’s like a two for one type of thing in your daily beauty routine. A couple of my favorites are the Nirvana White Dry Shampoo and Le Labo Hand Soap. Honestly, I never thought I’d look forward to washing my hands during the day. Here are a few of my favorite must-have items that smell like a dream.
My favorite part of the holidays is shopping for the people I care about and getting them something they really love. I like seeing everyones holiday wish lists and what they’re really lusting after so that I can pick a few things from that, as well a few things I think they would like based on what they’re dreaming about. One of my favorite ways to pick out gifts for friends and family is to take a look at their Pinterest for items they’ve pinned (especially if they already have a wish list board!), or even look at their Instagram to get an idea of favorite colors and style. It’s so fun to shop for people! So before I start sharing some holiday gift guides I wanted to share a few things I have on my wish list this year. Happy holidays everyone! xx erika
Once I find a product I love, I tend to stick to it and never change. This year I tried a lot of new products, and I’m happy to say that I completely switched up my normal routine and fell in love with a ton of new skincare and haircare products. I’m obsessed with these skincare and haircare products, so I had to share some of my favorites I’ve been using lately!
