I’m kind of obsessed with mid-century modern architecture. The concept behind the homes is that you bring nature indoors, and have a seamless flow between inside and out through glass houses…definitely my kind of dream home! Last weekend Joe and I drove around a few mid-century neighborhoods in Los Angeles and were so inspired by the designs. Ahh those clean lines are soo good. They’ve been on my mind ever since!

I love finding inspiration on Pinterest… here are ten pins I loved this week!
I love New Year parties, they’re so sparkly and fun. Really into these vibes… Tons more on my ‘that’s my kinda party’ Pinterest board right here.
I wanted to give my bedroom (AKA my favorite place in the whole world) a refresh for winter, something cozy and plush. I got this pretty blush pink duvet from CStudio Home for the space—love the color! I topped it off with this pillow and this one, and updated the rug under the bed to this cozy shaggy white rug for something more neutral.
I love gift giving. It’s so fun to pick out something unique for the people you love. My fiancé travels a lot, and there’s always some sort of issue right before the trip like not have carry-on sized face wash or shampoo, the proper bag, or a travel tooth brush. I wanted to get him something that would make his travel a breeze, and also be something really special that he wouldn’t necessarily splurge on normally. So I planned the ultimate travel kit. It’s perfect for the guy in your life who travels—your boyfriend, brother, dad, or even a guy friend!
How cool are these graphic socks? Such a good gift idea!
I’ve got an obsession with neon signs, so the Neon Boneyard that houses all of the former neon signs of Las Vegas hotels is kind of like a slice of neon heaven to me. It’s a magical glimpse into what the neon-lit night sky of Vegas used to look like! Some of the most classic mid-century Las Vegas signs are there—the Sands, the Stardust, and the Moulin Rouge to name a few. Don’t miss it next time you’re in the area.
